Erin, Registered Veterinary Technician

When Erin's first Newfoundland, Sadie, was diagnosed with lymphoma, she was devastated. Already a technician at a busy general practice, she was so impressed with the level of care Sadie was receiving during her treatment at Veterinary Cancer Group that she decided to join the team in 2004. Sadie went on to survive almost 2 years after her diagnosis with great quality of life, and after her passing Erin has remained at VCG with the focus of making an impact on the lives of others faced with a diagnosis such as Sadie had. Erin completed the requirements necessary to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2010.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys training and competing with her Newfoundland dogs in AKC obedience and conformation, and NCA water rescue and draft work. She is a member of the Newf Club of America (NCA), Newf Club of SoCal, and the Lomita Obedience and Training Club. Erin currently shares her life with Newfoundlands, a tuxedo cat named Gordon, her husband, Chuck, and their adorable baby boy.
